Account & Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your Bloomiya account and personal data at any time — whether or not you currently have the app installed. This page describes exactly how to do that, what gets deleted, what we're legally required to keep, and for how long.

How to request deletion

Email us from your account email

Send an email to privacy@bloomiya.ai from the email address associated with your Bloomiya account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

We may ask you to verify your identity before deletion (for example, by responding to a confirmation email or providing account-specific details). This is a safeguard against unauthorized deletion requests.

Alternative — in-app deletion

If you have the Bloomiya app installed, you can also request deletion from inside the app:

Settings → Privacy & Data Controls → Delete Account

The email process above is provided so account deletion is possible even without the app — as required by Google Play policy and by applicable privacy laws.

What gets deleted

When your deletion request is processed, the following categories are deleted or de-identified:

What we are legally required to retain — and for how long

Some records must be retained after account deletion to meet legal obligations (financial-services / anti-money-laundering compliance, tax, sanctions screening, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security). These retention periods are the same as those disclosed in Privacy Policy §14.

Biometric identifiers

If you have opted into biometric-related processing (voice embeddings or behavioral biometric signals used by the Living Proof Protocol), biometric identifiers are deleted following account deletion or consent withdrawal, within the retention window disclosed in Privacy Policy §11. This applies regardless of state of residence and satisfies Illinois BIPA, Texas CUBI, and Washington RCW 19.375 deletion requirements.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights beyond deletion. These include the right to access, correct, port, restrict processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
